Our Charity Board

Evergreen Education’s Charity Board is composed of individuals who contribute their professional expertise to support and uphold the school’s mission and values. Board members help ensure accountability, sound decision-making, and alignment with established policies as Evergreen continues to deliver high-quality education for its students.

The Charity Board does not function as a voting body. Its role is to provide oversight, guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the process of establishing and maintaining Evergreen’s not-for-profit status.

Karen Mann - Member

Hi! My name is Karen Mann. I live just outside of Peterborough with my husband, Mark, our two amazing kiddos, Zoë and Stephen, and our (lovable, but obnoxious) dog, Pippa. I currently work part-time as a Sr Human Resources Specialist for a local engineering firm. I will be contributing to the Evergreen Board as a member, providing Human Resources support and guidance, as needed. I have a BA in Arts, a Certificate in HR Management and have my Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation. I have spent most of my career working as an HR generalist, and in management roles through significant business growth. I recently moved into a specialist support role to be more available to my family during this busy season of life. I am honoured to be able to support Evergreen in this capacity and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this unique school.
