Evergreen’s Charity Board provides guidance, oversight, and support as the school grows.
Evergreen Education’s Charity Board is composed of individuals who contribute their professional expertise to support and uphold the school’s mission and values. Board members help ensure accountability, sound decision-making, and alignment with established policies as Evergreen continues to deliver high-quality education for its students. The Charity Board does not function as a voting body. Its role is to provide oversight, guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the process of establishing and maintaining Evergreen’s not-for-profit status.

Karen Mann
Hi! My name is Karen Mann. I live just outside of Peterborough with my husband, Mark, our two amazing kiddos, Zoë and Stephen, and our (lovable, but obnoxious) dog, Pippa. I currently work part-time as a Sr Human Resources Specialist for a local engineering firm.
I will be contributing to the Evergreen Board as a member, providing Human Resources support and guidance, as needed. I have a BA in Arts, a Certificate in HR Management and have my Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation. I have spent most of my career working as an HR generalist, and in management roles through significant business growth. I recently moved into a specialist support role to be more available to my family during this busy season of life. I am honoured to be able to support Evergreen in this capacity and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this unique school.
Sarah Dunn
Margo Hudson
Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and French, a Bachelor of Education with Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior qualifications. She has additional courses in Emotional Intelligence and French as a Second Language, as well as Standard First Aid CPR Level C & AED . When Sarah is not teaching you will find her being active outdoors with her family. Sarah is passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle through cooking nutritious meals and snacks for her family and finding exercise routines that energize her for the day ahead.
My name is Margo and I live in Peterborough with my husband Paul. We have three grown daughters and three amazing grandkids. One attends Evergreen currently. My Husband and I own Jo Annes's Place Health Foods and will be celebrating 50 years in business this year. Growing up in a family business and running it for the past 25 has given me very unique education and passion for caring for people. Serving and helping our Evergreen community as a board member is a great honour and privilege and I look forward an exciting future for this very special school.
Kayley Dunn

Kayley has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Bachelor of Education with Primary and Junior qualifications and an Early Childhood Education Diploma. She has her Math Specialist and has additional courses in Special Education and Reading, as well as Standard First Aid CPR Level C & AED. When Kayley is not teaching you will find her spending time with her family or being creative with sensory and art activities with her kids. Kayley is passionate about shaping young minds to becoming curious, life long learners.
Caleb brings 15 years of wealth management and financial planning expertise to the Board of Directors, offering strong strategic guidance and detailed fiscal oversight. Throughout his career, he has accumulated deep industry experience across a wide range of financial institutions, from major corporate financial firms to localized advisory practices.
Holding the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, he specializes in comprehensive financial planning and advanced tax strategies. In his board role, he leverages this deep expertise to ensure robust financial oversight, optimize budget efficiency, and support the long-term governance and fiscal health of the school. Beyond his professional credentials, he is dedicated to fostering a supportive, financially sound foundation where students, staff, and the educational community can thrive.

Amelia holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor. Her professional experience to date has been in the field of family law, with a focus on advocating for the best interests of children. She currently sits on the board of directors for Hope Grows, a local not-for-profit organization serving the region of Grand Goave, Haiti. Amelia believes that Evergreen Education offers a unique opportunity to children in the Peterborough community, and she is excited to serve Evergreen as the school grows!
Amelia Rodin
Jacqueline obtained her LLB from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, in 2022 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2023.
Jacqueline completed her articles with the Crown Law Office Criminal and began her career as a prosecutor shortly after. Recognizing her desire to be client-facing and the unique intersection between family law and criminal law Jacqueline transitioned from a role as a prosecutor to family law.
Jacqueline believes in the power of giving everyone a voice. With a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach, Jacqueline helps clients navigate difficult legal situations, providing guidance and support every step of the way. Acknowledging the profound impact that legal matters have on individuals and families. With a profound commitment to advocacy, Jacqueline approaches each case with empathy, diligence, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of the law.
Central to Jacqueline’s practice is the belief that the law should be accessible and comprehensible to all. By empowering clients with knowledge and understanding, Jacqueline ensures that they can make informed decisions and effectively utilize the law to protect their interests and rights.
Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others, Jacqueline stands as a steadfast advocate for justice and fairness.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University and has been a Chartered Professional Accountant since 2018. The majority of her professional experience to date as been in public practice working as an external auditor. When not working, you can find Sarah walking around an art gallery, adventuring through Ontario’s small towns or planning out her next DIY project.
The Evergreen model and environment is filling a gap in education that isn’t readily available. I am so excited to be a part of the Evergreen Advisory Board and know that there are big things head for this school!
